The food was delicious! I visited the Hive last month and as a Greek person with high expectations in Greek cuisine, I can say that the food served there is amazing! What sets this apart from any other co-working space I’ve used is that it is very personal – more akin to visiting friends than simply being co-located with other businesses – and that there is a great sense of finding ways to succeed together. The basics are all beautifully executed – well designed workspace, excellent internet access, ample power, good food, v. friendly team. Add to this support and advice, workshops, contacts and networking opportunities from Emma and the team and you have an outstanding resource for entrepreneurs, teams and homeworkers needing a base in Cranbrook that encourages and motivates you to “do what you do”! Lovely relaxed drinks and food! We visited The Hive because it’s wonderfully close to where we live, we didn’t know what to expect but it certainly didn’t disappoint! The menu included great authentic Greek dishes and they also have an array of drinks in their bar. We’ll definitely be returning, the relaxed informal environment makes it very appealing. It was lovely to see you and Stuart again last night and have another delicious meal at The Hive. We are so pleased that there is a new place to eat and socialise in Cranbrook; we love the funky decor and the warm welcome plus a well stocked bar and fantastic Greek food! We have already eaten here twice in the last week and popped in for a drink one evening – it’s the perfect place for a quiet drink and a chat or a get together with family and friends over dinner. I can see that we will be regular visitors to The Hive! Just loving it…

My 5 star review is based on their food – I’m convinced this is the best restaurant in the area. This place is a refreshing change when you get tired of restaurants who don’t ‘make’ the food they serve. When you learn that the chef lived in Greece in a Greek family and when you know important ingredients are imported for an authentic flavour, you can start to understand why this place is different. It really raises the bar for the area, everyone within reach should go! Ben

Great Greek food We weren’t sure where to eat in Cranbrook on Friday evening as there are limited options.but we happened to stumble across The Hive, so we popped in for a drink. We really liked everything about the place the atmosphere was great, staff really friendly and welcoming, so we decided to have something to eat. The food was absolutely amazing, could not fault a thing! July 2020

Saw the Greek Restaurant by chance online. Ordered a feast the day before and collected yesterday. The ordering process was easy and Stuart was helpful, even when I didnt fully consult the ‘boss’ who wanted something different! I had the Lamb Kleftico and my wife the Chicken and Pots. Both were really tasty and fresh. The Lamb was tender and the cooking juices tasty. The chicken was really authentic and my wife loved every bit – even chewing from the bone. We began with the Greek salad (fresh and traditional) and hummous and tzatziki (both fresh and clearly homemade). We followed with baklava and they were not too sickly sweet but crisp and delicious. Stuart was really helpful in bringing the meal to the car for me. We would recommend and will definitely be back. John

Fantastic food. Delicious sea bass steamed on top of a bed of sauteed potatoes that had been marinated in oregano, olive oil and lemon juice, with a crispy Greek salad. The best we have ever eaten. You must try it! J Wharram and C Gammon

It was my first visit to Hivehubs today and I was really impressed. I was able to have a meeting in a lovely atmosphere. During these unprecedented times, The Hive, over the last 3 months, has been a saviour. Like many in the Cranbrook area, my home broadband speed and 4G is very poor and certainly does not provide the capacity to efficiently ‘work from home’. With 3 children home schooling, it was imperative I found an alternative working arrangement. The Hive has provided everything I needed, superfast broadband and wi-fi enabling uninterrupted phone calls, all at an affordable rate. The Team have provided me with my own isolated space, giving the privacy of an office in a safe and friendly environment. I think going forward, many city workers will choose to spend less time commuting and elect for flexible working from home a couple of days a week. When we passed the Hive we were drawn to the Greek menu and ordered a take away Greek Feast for two , for the next day, with the lamb Kleftico. The meal was simply delicious . We chose two dips, with pitta bread , the salad was very fresh and the lamb was so tender and tasty (and wrapped using bee ribbon!) . There was plenty of food to tide us over the next day .
